Non snap pillow block units consist of a two piece heavy gauge steel housing which allows the ball bearing initial self-alignment.
Manitou Pillow Block Sets are made from heavier gauge steel than the standard.
The housings listed below are standard and are dimensionally the same as supplied by the leading ball bearing manufacturers. These parts are finished with clear zinc plating for corrosion resistance.

The Pillow Block Design is the only one that can be used on conveyors that go around curves. Our customers state that the ball bearing does not bind because this unit does not have vertical edges on the tops and bases.
For your satisfaction, we suggest an actual test of the ball bearing and housing in your application.
